The flow of liquid outside of the revolved permeable cylinder with the channel of liquid through his side is considered. The analysis of flow features is made on the base of numerical solution of Reynolds averaged Navier - Stocks equations closed with SST k −ω turbulence model. It is rotined that the the turbulization of boundary layer on the surface of rotating cylinder and layer’s thickness rising up to values close to the annular domain’s height precedes the macro-vortex appearance. At that the centrifugal instability conditioned by secondary flows developing along the full height of annular domain, not within the thin laminar boundary layer.
